This course covers the training requirement for obtaining the Maryland handgun qualification license (HQL).

Students will learn:

• Maryland firearms laws and regulations

• Home firearm safety

• Handgun nomenclature and operation

  
  Students will be required to show safe gun handling skills with a supervised live fire exercise. Firearms, ammunition and safety equipment will be provided.
